I purchased a 2005lp in 07 and it has not been what I expected from Abu-Garcia! It is prone to backlash due to it's inferior design ( braking system).. Looks good.. performs terrible!!

I fish. A lot! These reels are only designed for the occasional fisherman. Inferior parts wear out quickly. Having to take the cover off to adjust the break is annoying. This was built to sell, not use.
