The Facts: The Shimano Tiagra reels have strong, torque-resistant frames that are machined from 7mm aluminum pipe. They have 2 main gears, 2 pinion gears, 4 ball bearings (Ti130 has 6) and a main shaft made of stainless steel and feature oil-filled cylinder drag mechanism. The shifter gears are always meshed-shift with the push of a button. The Ti20 has a narrow spool for faster line pickup and less "wobble" on the wind.
