The Facts: The Sage 2500 Series fly reels are machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and is custom anodized to resist the corrosive effects of saltwater. 20% lighter than the 3000 Series, they feature a sealed graphite and stainless steel disc drag system; self-lubricating drive gears; and numbered adjustment knobs.
